Thursday 7-19-12

Many of you know that I am a huge Matt Chan fan. I pulled for him to win this year and even though he took second I couldn’t be more happy for him. I was deciding on a video to post for today and I recalled a short Chan interview from the games this year. As I searched for it I came across this video. I think so highly of him because of who he demonstrated he was at my level 1 cert and who he demonstrates he is at the end of this video. By the way, I became a huge fan before I knew who he was in the Crossfit world and obviously before he became the oldest athlete to take the podium thus far in CrossFit history.

Even though I stress how important mobility is I know that most of us put it second to the WOD. So today’s focus is mobility. If we do this and then work our squat and deadlift strength it should become clear how much more effective our lifts are with full range of motion.
